Iu, Lai & Li (“the Firm”) was first founded in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (“Hong Kong”) in 1979 under the then name  “Iu & Lai” and engaged mainly in general legal practice. In 1980, the Firm’s corporate finance department was established and the Firm’s name  was changed to “Iu, Lai & Li”. Mr. Dominic Lai, one of the Firm’s founding partners, is the Senior Partner of the Firm.

Today, the Firm has established itself as a law firm with substantial practice in all aspects of Hong Kong law. Many clients of the Firm are listed companies in Hong Kong and overseas, which include developers, banks and financial institutions, media, manufacturers, hoteliers, contractors and real estate agents.

The Firm has embarked actively on a move to expand in the Mainland China market as part of a continuing effort to provide clients with a broad range of services.

With lawyers and other staff of over 100, the Firm is well equipped to provide clients with professional advice and guidance on all kinds of businesses and legal issues.
